About the brand
Paper Bunny Press is a woman owned illustration + stationery shop based in Chicago, Illinois.
Paper Bunny Press (formally known as Sam's Simple Décor) was founded in 2013 while Samantha was studying to get her B.S. in Architecture to help pay for her college and later, her grad school tuition. While Samantha has two architectural degrees, she is a self-taught graphic designer and illustrator. At the end of 2020, Samantha left the architecture profession and made her small design business her full-time passion.
The designs that Samantha makes are filled with bright colors, fun textures and positive vibes. Each illustration is created to put a smile on people's faces, spread joy, inspire and help bring others together.

Hey there! I am Samantha, the designer and artist behind Paper Bunny Press. My passion for art started when I was a young girl - you would always find me putting a craft set together, drawing buildings or teaching myself Photoshop.
I love to design with bright and bold colors that put a smile on peoples faces. I believe that color helps lift one's spirits and brightens moods.
When I'm not designing or working on my business you can find me sipping on coffee, bouldering at the gym, hanging out with my bunny Ginger, binge watching true crime documentaries, exploring with my partner and endlessly scrolling TikTok.
