employment opportunity - marketing team member

Paper Bunny Press is hiring! We are looking to add a marketing staff member to our small but mighty team. This role would be ideal for a student that is currently studying marketing or a recent marketing graduate.

About Paper Bunny Press:

We are a small snarky stationery brand located in Chicago, IL. We design bright, colorful, relatable and surprisingly snarky greeting cards, stickers, notepads, and so much more. Our small but growing team is made up of two badass women, Sam and Cris. Sam is the illustrator, designer and chaotic brains behind the brand. Cris is the talented AF production/fulfillment studio assistant.

These are the tasks you would perform:

- Wholesale outreach to prospective retailers

- Nurturing our current wholesale clients with bi-monthly emails

- Retailer research (finding store contact information that would be a great fit for our brand).

- Posting and maintaining our IG account

- Writing weekly emails to our DTC email subscribers

- Collaborating on and helping create TikTok content

About the position:

- This is a part-time position, 1-2 days per week.

- Entry-level position

- Located in Chicago, IL (North Center neighborhood)

- $20 per hour (you will be a W2)

- In office position

- 8 hours per day, includes paid lunch

- We will provide you with your own desk and monitor but you will need to bring your own laptop.

- Tentative start date: mid-late October

Skills required:

- Marketing degree (currently in school or recently graduated)

- Copywriting 

- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator, and a video editing app (we use CapCut for reference).

- Proficiency with Google Suite (mainly Docs, Sheets & Drive)
